From Iwanne Müller1    August 1841

Tönning [Beginning of Aug. 41.

A few lines in which Iwanne tells Ferdinand she had had a letter from Bertha (evidently from Hamburg) in which Bertha says the people were friendly and nice to her which was not the case, before we had visited her.

Bertha wrote that Wilhelm had been to see her, and took her to his Mother's which she enjoyed. His bride is a sweet girl.]2
