We were at Mertens and celebrated Grandfather's 73 birthday. He was the 29th Controller. That night we had a hare-by-the-head. Uncle tells us Grandfather's golden wedding will be April a year.

Haven't you an idea of a position for me yet?

Bertha is copying out of a Cookery book. Clara also, her eyes are all right and she has no chilblains.
