G1 to acknowledge the receipt of your letter dated May Day Hill 22 February2 and to express His Ex's thanks for the interesting account of the many valuable species of plants reported to have been discovered by you in your tour through the Interior and I am further to request you will continue to prosecute your Botanical researches with the same untiring zeal, under the hope of still further success
