My dear Sir

I beg to enclose the receipt for having despatched to you "per Black Swan" this day the books in good order, which you had the kindness to forward to me. I have used them with advantage, altho' but few alterations in my names for plants were found necessary.

I hope you received safely the enumeration of Kunth (5 volumens)1 which I send to you by the "Lady Bird" at the time, when I had the pleasure of receiving your books.2

I am very anxious to receive from Dr Milligans kindness the genera of Endlicher,3 and leaving here on the 30. for Sydney, I should be glad if he send the book to Mr Moore,4 bot. Gardens, whence I will send the amount

Thankfully and obediently your

Ferd Mueller
