Dear Sir

At the eve of my departure I just send you a few lines to inform you, that your kindfully transmitted books have in good order been shipped again last week by the black Swan and that at the time when they arrived here I forwarded to you 5 vol. of Kunth2 with the Lady Bird.

Please, dear Sir, let me know by writing to Sydney, care of C. Moore Esq bot Gardens, that you received them and be assured that I shall not forget the obligation under which you have placed me by your kindness. If Dr Milligan could let me have Endl. genera3 I should be delighted and pay the price at once
