Sir

I have the honor by command of His Excellency the Governor again to direct your attention to my letter to you of the 29th March last applying for certain Returns for the Blue Book;1 and I am to inform you, that in conformity with the instructions of the Right Honorable the Secretary of State, it is His Excellency's intention to suspend the Salary of any officer, who does not after this notice, immediately furnish his Returns.
