To John Macadam   4 July 1857

Botanic Gardens

4. July 57.

My dear Doctor

Will you kindly oblige me by sending 5 copies of the last transactions and 5 also of the former ones if yet to be had?1 I will call on you to pay for them one of these days, also my contributions, unless I am exempted as (I believe) hon. member. I was anxious to see you at the last meeting, but not quite well, and obliged to go home before it closed.

Yours obediently

Ferd. Mueller2
