To George Francis   13 October 1857

Melbourne bot. Garden

13. Oct. 1857

My dear Mr Francis.

I hope you received my Wardian Case with plants transmitted through the Col. Storekeeper of Victoria and the pamphlet send by the mail. If you have an opportunity please fill the box soon again, otherwise I should be glad to have it at least empty back —

My reason of writing to day was to ask you for a sample of the bricks which you employed for the edges of your garden-beds

Yours

Ferd Mueller
