From George Francis   23 October 1857

Octr 23rd 1857

Sir

I am instructed by the Botanic Garden Committee to request that you will have the kindness to furnish them with the rules which regulate the admission of the public to the Botanic Garden under your charge as a guide for their own.1 I thus trouble you under the impression that the experience necessarily acquired by years of practice, cannot but be most valuable for the guidance of our infant garden

I have the honor
