I feel much pleasure to inform you, that at the last meeting of our Institute you were duely elected by unanimous vote an ordinary member1 —, and I hope to be hereafter able to elevate you into the rank of the hon. members. The Rev. Mr Bleasdale & myself have been your sponsors.

You will pardon me for being so brief this time. Shall I send the transactions to Guichen Bay & what is the best manner of transit?
