Melbourne bot Garden,
19. June 1858.
My dear Mr Woods.
I received only this day the enclosed bills from Prof. Irving — You are entitled to 2 copies of our transactions vol 2, 2 for your article1 and to one copy henceforth as a member. — For your kind invitation I owe you many thanks, but I am so overwhelmed with administrative work in this large establishment, that I cannot find even a few days, to go with the Steamer to my sister near Port Fairy
The transactions, containing your article are out this week. I will endeavour to send you a copy by first opportunity.
Pray accept a hasty wish for your prosperity from
your humble
Ferd Mueller
There is in your parcel also a copy of our transactions for Dr Wehl.
Rev. Jul. Edm. Woods.
