With reference to yr letter of 21 Augt addressed to his Excellency Sir H Barkly1 intimating the desire of Prince Paul William, Duke of Wurtemberg to be furnished from the museum of this Colony with some zoological specimens in Exchange for some he proposes to send from Silesia, I have the honor to state that Professor Mc Coy under whose notice the subject, by desire of His Excellency, was brought has intimated that if he be furnd2 either with a general or particular list of the Victorian duplicates desired by His Highness stating whether more than one of any species be wished for, all such as the museum has duplicates of shall be packed without delay & the rest will be sent as they occur.
