I have the honor to solicit, that you will kindfully extend the time of engagement of the three labourers now employed in the Gov. reserve til the end of the year, in order that some of the chasm & holes in the ground may be filled up or transformed into proper drains, also to improve the Yarra-walk &c. —

I further solicit, to be provided with a key to the gate just above the old barracks, to enable our cart to pass into town without entering the barrack ground.
