In reply to your communication of the 5. instant,1 I have the honor to inform you, that in all likelihood the whole sums, yet remaining unexpended from the votes of this department will be needed to meet our requirements during the remaining part of the year.

The unexpended balance of Salaries and Wages amounts to £1045.8/2d, that of contingencies to £582.12/—d and that of building material to £89
