On 21 January 1859 the Alpaca fund committee wrote to the Chief Secretary, J. O'Shanassy, to report that they had received a bill of lading for the alpacas per Goddess and to request instructions as to their disposal. O'Shanassy annotated the file: ' Forward to Dr Mueller for report of the Zoological Garden Committee J O'S 20/1/59'.
The year date is evidently an error and should be 59.
