On the same day Balmain wrote to Hutton accepting his tender (No. 59/748, unit 3, p. 16, VPRS 975/P2, Public Record Office, Victoria). Hutton finished the work by 21 March at the cost of £4.10.0 (Unit 9, p. 183, VPRS 69).
