My dear Dr. Mueller

The little insects are larvae and pupae of a species of Homopterous genus Psylla (so named from the hopping noticed by Mr. Cole) nearly related to the Psylla Eucalypti if not identical with it. The "tail" and "sugar-like dew" &c are found in all the genus.
