In reply to the enquiry made in yr letter of the 16th ulto2 I have the hr3 to inform you that the plans for the lecture room in the Botanic Gardens shall be put in train immediately.

A museum and lecture room were erected in the Domain adjacenty to the Melbourne Botanic Garden between December 1859 and March 1860 by Henry Jacobs at a cost of £975.8.7 (Unit 9, p. 220, VPRS 69).
