I have the honor to solicit, that you will be pleased to sanction the following expenditure in my establishment during the last quarter of the year.

Salaries and wages (according to former scale)

Purchase of plants

Expense of publishing works on indigenous plants of Victoria

Fencing paddock, stabling and other incidental expenses

Transfer of £150 from the vote of "forage & food for animals," to be expended in the construction of tanks & the requisite pipes for providing water to several parts of the garden and particularly also for the animals of the menagerie1
