From Ferdinand von Mueller to John O'Shanassy   21 Sep 1859

[A/cs

J. L. Ross1 £1.14

J. Gebendinger £18.14.6

Hamel & Co £22.10.0]2

Not further identified.

M's letter was referred back to him on 15 October 1859 annotated: '"Boiler" cannot be charged agst the authy quoted'. The relevant authority has not been found; the boiler was almost certainly by the metal worker Gebendinger.

The index entry for this item includes a fourth account, 'F. Mueller £2.10.0', but this does not appear in the register; M was probably advised informally to claim the sum involved, presumably a reimbursement of some kind, in a different way.

Letter not found; item is a register entry only, of a set of invoices submitted on 21 September 1859.
