[Requisition for Fencing ZG1]
Zoological Garden. Around £1,217 was expended on fencing at the Zoological Garden in 1859 (Unit 9, p. 182, VPRS 69, Public Record Office, Victoria).
Letter not found; item is a register entry only, dated 3 November 1859. On the same day, M also submitted a requisition for fencing in the Botanic Garden; see M to J. King, 3 November 1859 (in this edition as 59-11-03b). Taken together, the two letters appear to be a response to C. Ligar to M, 15 October 1859 (in this edition as 59-10-15b).
