To Miles Berkeley   17 November 1859

Melbourne bot. &

zool. garden,

17 Nov. 1859

Reverend & dear Sir.

I need scarcely assure you, that your kind note1 in reference to your friendly consent of examining my litle mycological collection has been to me the source of great pleasure. I hope that I will receive the index in time to incorporate it in my report[s].

From time to time additional fungal collections will accumulate in my herbarium, and I shall not fail to submit them also to the profoundest mycologist of the day.

With my highest regard,

dear Sir,

yours humbly

Ferd. Mueller
