The file cover summary states: 'Dr Mueller forwds a/cs J. Morton £11.18.5'. This was almost certainly an account for supplying meat for the carnivores in the zoological collection; see, for example, M to J. Moore, 5 September 1860 (in this edition as 60-09-05c).
