Melbourne bot. & zool. Garden,
28. June 60
Sir
May I respectfully solicit the favor, that one constable of the South Yarra Police force attends regularly on Saturdays during the two hours at the Gardens, when the music of the band of the 40 Reg. draws so many visitors to this establishment.1
I have the honor to be,
Sir,
your most obedient servant
Ferd. Mueller.
Director.
Capt. Standish,
Chief Commissioner of police.
