From Henry Barkly1    24 July 1861

24th July 1861

My dear Dr Mueller,

I return your letter to Sir William Hooker.2 I think your offer in regard to Mr Bentham's proposed Flora of Australia is most generous and liberal, & I will give it every support in writing to Sir William.3 I am too busy at the moment in preparing for the Mail to say more.

I have read the letters which you kindly encl[osed] & send them back with thanks.4

[Ever] [faithfully]

Henry Barkly.
