Dear Dr Mueller

I have received information from a person just arrived from Mount Murchison Station3 that, one of the Camels, recognised as one belonging to Mr Burkes small party, has come in to our head station at Mount Murchison, another camel is also said to be at Winterega Station which is situated between Mt Murchison and Menindie.

The Upper Darling mail reaches Wentworth (Darling Junction) tomorrow, and I shall make a point of sending you any information which may reach me from the Manager of Mt. Murchison Station.

I am very much afraid that, Mr Burke has been led into serious difficulties by pushing into the Northern desert.

With kind regards

Believe me

My dear Dr Mueller

yours Faithly

H. Jamieson
