Hochgeehrter Herr!

Mit heutiger Post erlaube ich mir Ihnen von einem Wechsel von £7.17 die Secunda zu übersenden, hoffend dass die prima sowie 2 vorher abgesandte Wechsel Sie richtig erreichten. Aus dem beigefügten Blatte werden Sie ersehen, dass auch der deutsche Verein von Tarrangower durch seinen werthen Presidenten, Hr. Dr Kupferberg zu Ihrer schönen Unternehmung Subsidien sandte. Wenn die nächsten Subscriptionen hinlänglich angelaufen sind, werde ich nicht verfehlen eine andere Remisse Ihnen zuzustellen.

Dear Sir,

I take the liberty of sending you the duplicate of a bill of exchange for £7/17/ by today's mail, and hope that the first as well as two previously sent bills of exchange have reached you safely.3 From the enclosed letter you will see, that the German Club of Tarrangower4 also sent subsidies for your fine enterprise through their President, Dr Kupferberg.5 When a reasonable number of the next subscriptions have arrived, I shall not fail to send you another remittance.
