Dr Mueller

Sir

I beg to inform you that I have here (at Echuca) upwards of two hundred Goats so that in the event of the Royal Society entertaining the Idea of sending a number of these useful and hardy animals to Coopers Creek they may not be at a loss to know where they may most easily purchase the number they require

I shall be obliged by your bearing in mind that I am willing to dispose of two thirds of my herd — or less at a very reasonable price per head

I have the honor to be

Sir

Your most obt Servt
