From Ferdinand von Mueller to John Moore   3 Apr 1862

3.1/3./62.2

My dear Mr Moore.

Returning with many thanks this document, may I draw your attention to a question whether M. P. can obtain the work. Mr Verdon applied for it, but Mr Ferres3 could not give it without authority.

Regardfully

yours

Ferd Mueller

3 over 5.

M evidently misdated the letter to March. It is the cover letter to M's return of M to J. O'Shanassy, 31 March 1862, which had been sent back to M on 2 April with O'Shanassy's approval of his proposals for distribution of B62.03.03; a further note in Moore's hand, 'Appl appliues', answers M's question about eligibility of Members of Parliament to receive a copy.

Government Printer.

MS black-edged; M's sister, Bertha Doughty, died on 7 September 1861.
