My dear Professor

Amongst the plants received recently from North East Australia there are the seeds of two Cucurbitaceae, which I am happy to place at your disposal.

I beg to enclose simultaneously an appendix to Mr Landsboroughs Expedition-journal;1 and express my thanks to Dr Naudin for having kindly sent me the last number of the Annales des sciences naturelles, containing the continuation of his valuable memoir on Cucurbitaceae.2

Ever very regardfully

your
