From Ferdinand von Mueller to John O'Shanassy   23 Jan 1863

Melbourne 23. Jan. 1863.

Sir

I have the honor to solicit, that you will be pleased to add the sum of twenty five pounds £25 Sterling to the Salary of Mr Wilhelmi, the Assistant of the botanic Garden, for the current year, as that Gentleman would be entitled to the above increase on his salary according to the provisions of the Civil Service Bill.

By an oversight on my part the Salary of Mr Wilhelmi was left unincreased on the schedule for 1863, which I had the honor to submit to your office.

I have the honor to be,

Sir,

your most obedient and humble servant

Ferd. Mueller.

The Chief Secretary
