To William Hooker   26 June 1863

26/6/63

Dear Sir William

By the "Roxburgh Castle", which ship conveys this letter I forwarded (as mentioned by overland mail)1 a case with Acacia for President2 Bentham to you. The case contains also some parcels of dry plants from Mr Whan to Prof Dickie,3 which I would be thankful if delivered to the order of the latter Gentleman. They comprise nothing that is not already well represented in your herbarium, as I have persuaded myself [when] naming the plants.

Ever your

Ferd. Mueller
