My dear Doctor
In answer to your numerous letters2 I beg to reply that at present there is not any thing at the Park suitable for sending to Bourbon,3 altho' it is very probable that Mr Fletcher4 may bring up some kangaroos from Phillip Island before long and in that case they might be sent.
Professor Halford's name shall be put down and I am equally pleased with you at the accession to our members of this gentleman. Captain Reynell of the "Yorkshire" has consented to take some kangaroos but does not wish anything else to go this voyage. We shall be very happy to take charge of the dingo at the Park.
I am
My dear Doctor
Yours faithfully
