Dear Sir William

This day sails the "Monarch" by which clipper I have forwarded to your adress cases No. 16 & 17 for Mr Bentham's use. This consignment comprises the rest of the Leguminosae and the Chrysobalaneae, Melastomeae and Combretaceae. The rest of the material for the second volume of the Australian Flora will follow by the Norfolk in about a fourth night.
