On 9 February 1864, Parliament approved £1,000 for 'buildings, fences and other works at the Botanic Gardens' (Victoria, Votes and Proceedings of the Legislative Assembly, session 1864, vol. 1, p. 69).
Estimates for 1864 ordered to be printed 2 Feb 1864, but all that exists for it on PP database is coversheet!, so looked at V&P, considered on 9 Feb, when approval given after debates on supply.Given estimates can't be found I suggest note 3 become as shown in blue.
Letter not found; item is a register entry only, forwarded by M on 1 October 1863.
