From George Sprigg to Ferdinand von Mueller   21 Oct 1863

October 21 [186]31

Sir

I am directed by Mr Sumner to inform you that he & Dr Black2 inspected the roads in the Park yesterday and are of the opinion that a few loads of gravel should at once be put on them and if you will consent they will instruct Mr Purchas with the order. By informing me of your consent Mr Sumner thought that it would obviate the necessity of a formal meeting.

I have the honor to be

Sir

Your most Obedt Servant

Geo Sprigg

Secretary

To Dr Mueller F.R.S.
