Bentham (1863-78), vol. 1 (1863); vol. 2 was not published until October 1864 (TL2).

The fascicles of Beddome (1863) were forwarded to M with J. Moore to M, 27 January 1874 (in this edition as 64-01-27d).

The specific works M requested are not known but were probably the bound botanical works issued by the Government Printer up to that date: B60.02.04, B62.02.03, B62.03.03, B63.04.06. However, before this letter was written, B62.02.04 and B62.02.03 had been reviewed in Bulletin de la Société Botanique de France, vol. 9 (1862), Revue Bibliographique p. 676, as was B62.03.03 in Vol. 10 (1863), Revue Bibliographique, p. 621.

Approval for M's requests was minuted to his letter and it was forwarded to the Government Printer.
