I am directed by The Governor to inform you that the Colonial Treasury will be prepared to advance £30 on account of the Government of Madras1 and that His Excellency will be much obliged if you will take steps for carrying out your own views as expressed in your letter of the 19th Instant as His Excellency has no doubt that by the next mail he will receive an Official Communication from that Government.
