I have the honor to solicit, that you will be pleased to cause the sum of one hundred pounds Sterling to be transmitted to the Agent General at London out of the vote for publishing works on Australian plants, and that you will kindly render there this sum available to Mr Geo Bentham, the President of the Linnean Society as a contribution towards the expenditure to be incurred by the publication of the 3. vol. of the Australian Flora,1 now under preparation for the press.
