I am directed by the Honorable the chief Secretary to inform you that he has received a letter from the Honble the Treasurer stating that it would be convenient if requisitions were in future made half-yearly instead of once a quarter; and am to request that you will in accordance with this intimation make the requisitions for the supplies required by your Department henceforth on or about the 1st January and 1st July in each year only
