Dear Dr Hooker.

The second instalment of Compositae I now send for Benth. work pr Yorkshire, 18 fascicles, freight paid. (Box 28)

The first lot of Compositae was shipped by the Kent on the 30. Sept. 26 fascicles (Box 27.)

The third and last consignment will follow by one of the clippers leaving this port within the next weeks.

Mr Bentham will then have all plants of the orders not worked up by R. Brown, as the next consignment will consist of Ericeae (Epacrideae) & Goodenoviaceae.
