I beg to forward to you on the part of the Melbourne Natl Mus. for transmission to the Museum of Upsala and in exchange for the eighty-three (83) specimens received from thence ninety (90) specimens of Australian Skins including 71 species (15 specimens & 12 species being quadrupeds) the remainder birds. If the Director of the Museum of Upsala will inform me of what other objects of Natural history of Victoria they desire to have I shall have great pleasure in forwarding them in exchange for some of the quadrupeds of North Europe such especially as Males of some of the Northern species of Deer, Wolf &c which I will enumerate on learning what would be desired in return.
