The requisition was returned to M on 30 May 1866 annotated: 'appd req forwd' [approved requisition forwarded]. M returned the requisition to the Chief Secretary's Department on 3 July and it was in turn forwarded to the Public Works Department on 14 January 1867 annotated: 'lapsed'.
