Haben dem Director des botanischen Gartens zu Melbourne in Australien, Dr. Ferdinand Jacob Heinrich Mueller, Unsern Königlichen Kronen-Orden dritter Klasse verliehen, und ertheilen demselben über den rechtmässigen Besitz dieser Auszeichnung das gegenwärtige Beglaubigungs-Schreiben mit Unserer eigenen Unterschrift und dem beigedruckten Königlichen Insiegel. Berlin, den 9. Juni 1866.

We, Wilhelm, by the grace of God King of Prussia, have bestowed our Order of the Royal Crown third class on Dr Ferdinand Jacob Heinrich Mueller, Director of the Botanic Gardens in Melbourne, Australia, and issue to him this document of attestation as to the rightful ownership of this Order with Our own signature and the imprint of the Royal Seal. Berlin, 9th June 1866.
