Caesia?
MEL 107065 is a specimen of Caesia alpina collected by Archer, but it is marked as 'ex Herb Archer', suggesting that it came from an acquisition at an unknown date.
uninteresting?
It appears that the uninteresting plant was the Caesia, but no other evidence that M proposed to name a species or variety after Archer has been found.
Letter not found; item is a summary in Archer's letter book, dated 12 December 1867.
