From Ferdinand von Mueller to Edward Symonds   31 Dec 1867

The account of judgements referred to in my memorandum of the 19 inst.1 was transmitted to the treasury on that day, and the sum claimed £114.1/9d (being portion of the total expenditure for improvements of the walks at Toorak) was paid on the 24. inst. Adjustment of Advance appended2

Ferd Mueller

31/12/67

See M to E. Symonds, 19 December 1867 (in this edition as 67-12-19b). The file was referred to M by Symonds on 24 December 1867 because the certificate of judgment referred to in M's letter appeared not to have reached the Treasury. The expenditure was associated with the Duke of Edinburgh's visit.
