This day, dear Dr Hooker, I have shipped the rest of the Monopetaleae,1 except a few odd ones, which will be sent by overland mail. The plants are in two Boxes, and Capt Grey has kindly taken special charge of them. I enclose a receipt order,2 & trust they will reach you safely.
