To Joseph Hooker   17 July 1868

17/7/68

By a vexatious omittence, dear Dr Hooker, the package of seeds for Algerian forest culture, was not sent in any of the two boxes forwarded by the Angelsey.1 I have now ventured to direct the package to you, thinking you will find means of sending it to Dr Bodichon, 5 Blandford Square, London, N.W.2

It is scarcely right to trouble you with such a commission, but as it is a patriotic object, perhaps you will lend your kind aid.

Your regardful

Ferd von Mueller
