To Otto Lindberg   11 November 1868

11/11/68

My friends Comte de Castelnau and Professor McCoy are always glad to exchange zoological objects. The Count works however now only on Coleoptera.

I do not know, esteemed Professor, if the 4 enclosed mosses went to you in the large collection,1 which you will have received by now through the kind agency of Councillor Regel. These 4 species are from Rockingham Bay on the north-east coast of Australia.

Respectfully your

Ferd. von Mueller.

My friends Count de Castelnau and Professor McCoy are always glad to exchange zoological objects. The Count however now works only on Coleoptera.

M had sent all his Australian and New Zealand moss collections to Lindberg on loan; see M to O. Lindberg, 5 July 1868.
