No publication by M with this title has been found, but the headings follow the sequence given in M's list of Australian trees in his essay for the 1866 intercolonial exhibition (B67.13.02) and the three genera included here are also from that list.
Verbenaceae?
MS appears to be notes for a request to be sent to M, although no such request has been found, whether sent directly or via Wilhelm Sonder. MS is dated to 1869 as the request, when sent, was probably what prompted M to send the wood specimens itemized in M to F. von Krauss, January 1870 (in this edition as 70-01-00) and M to F. von Krauss, April 1870 (in this edition as 70-04-00d).
